PCM2012/3012 Series

The PCM2012/3012 series is a small MPPT solar charge controller designed for small PV systems.  Its MPPT feature (Maximum Power Point Tracking) allows unit to target the highest output possible from PV panel and convert excess input voltage into higher charging current. For this reason MPPT solar controllers are normally used with high voltage panels, where their advantage over traditional PWM controllers truly shine.

PCM2012/3012 features 20A or 25A max charging current (or 200w and 300w, respectively) for 12v battery systems.   The maximum input Voc of the 12v models is 50V and this allows users to use higher voltage panels of Voc in the 30’s or 40’s range which are commonly found on the market.

The front COM port allows users to explore optional advanced features such as calibration, firmware update, or simply changing charging voltage for type 05 batteries (self-customized charging voltage).  Any update to COM port will require software on PC and an optional RJ45/RS232 data cable (may be special ordered, or pinout available upon request).

Same as the other PCM MPPT series controller, PCM2012/3012 comes with large, clear to read LCD display and control.  Intelligent and highly efficient, these controllers ideal for small off-grid application.
