Hybrid V / V2 Series

  • The Hybrid V/V2 Series, like all hybrid family inverters, offer additional capability to export power to grid when there’s surplus energy from solar panels, after satisfying load + battery.  One unique advantage of the HV/V2 series is the freedom of true hybrid systems, without constraints of specific national standards so users can typically use this in a wider range of environment.

On the brand new V2 Series (3K, 5K), 3 main features have been added to further enhance the capability of V2 models.

    • Batteryless operation
    • Parallel operation up to 9 units max
    • Max PV input up to 450V

    Important note about Batteryless Operation

When configuring system in parallel using multiple units, please be sure that a battery MUST be used or otherwise it may cause system to work incorrectly, or possibly lead to damage.  Due to the inconsistent nature of PV power, batteryless mode can only work normally under single-unit setup.

PV panel selection for HV2 models

Because the HV2 is designed based on high PV input which should require uses to wire panels in series as much as possible, without exceeding the max PV input limit.  When selecting panels, be sure to use “non-grounding” panels as otherwise this could cause a leakage current problem on the HV2 inverters which are non-isolated design.

    Generator Support

Genset starter dry contact is a standard feature in this model, and in the absence of grid, users may opt to connect a generator for backup.  Only quality inverter-type generators are recommended for use.
