Our friend and long-time Off Grid Solar expert in Australia, Justin Case, has shared a very useful video on his channel demonstrating the importance of measuring and minimizing AC ripple current on the DC side of a system. Excessive AC ripple due to undersized wires will put strain on the internal MOSFET components of an inverter that result in failures, however this is something many installers do not pay attention to. With his permission we are sharing this video with our customers and distributors, hoping more people will benefit from this knowledge and reduce the likelihood of field problems.
