please follow this 2-step instruction to update:  1. download all files / folders from link to desktop on your PC,  2. refer to PDF SOP and update both folders (DSP + MCU).  Once updated, please check CPU version on LCD display again and verify version is correct.

    One important advantage of using the LVX6048WP is that one can easily convert a On-Grid system into a true Hybrid (grid-interactive with battery backup) easily by simply adding LVX6048WP into the existing system and “couple” its output with the on-grid inverter by programming a menu setting.

  • IP65 WP Installation Guidance

    • WARNING: please do NOT install units on sites where there is direct exposure to sunlight, rain, snow, >95% humidity, near antenna or at altitude >2km above sea level

    Using Generator as AC-Input

    • Generator power is recommended to be 50% larger than the inverter rating to reduce chances of overload and inverter-generator type is recommended for its cleaner output than conventional generators.  Unsuitable generator output will be rejected by the inverter.  See guide.
    • When using generator as AC input – grid injection must be DISABLED.
    • To use GEN INPUT on the LVX6048WP, updating to V1.37 is required and this update is applicable only to models produced after 2022 January.  Parallel operation with compatible genset is now also supported on V1.37.

    AC Coupling

    • When running in AC Coupling mode with a GT inverter, be sure the GT inverter rating is lower than the LVX6048WP (<6KW) to avoid triggering self-protection.  This feature is only applicable to single unit operation, not parallel output.

    Grid Relay

    • Additional power boost may be achieved at AC output by activating “grid-relay” feature on the inverter, available only in Off-Grid modes I and II via setting in SolarPower.  Grid injection will be disabled when off-grid modes are selected.
